Lumineer’s Quote Printable – Bedroom Art
Hello Friends! Thanks to those of you who left really nice comments, either here on the blog or over on Facebook, about my pretty grey dresser. I love her so much – she’s been such a gratifying and satisfying addition to our house! As promised, I am back today with a free little printable I made to accessorize the top of the nightstand: this cute quote from the hit song “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers:
Creating custom printable and typography-style art is one of my all time favorite ways to add art and meaning to our home. I’ve done it many a times, here and here – just as examples! I like art with meaning, so I often create prints that resonate with myself, my husband or my family. By printing them on cardstock or glossy photo paper myself, they not only provide me with a creative outlet (by designing them), but are free to make and easy to change out when the mood strikes (or another quote catches my attention)!
There isn’t a ton of room on this nightstand for a lot of frames, pictures or accessories, but this quote alongside a recent photo of my husband and I were just the right balance between decor and function!
The frame was an old one – I painted the frame white and painted the inside of the wooden backing to the frame black. The phrase is printed without borders on 8.5×11″ cardstock and mounted directly onto the backing of the frame with double stick tape. By painting the inside of the frame, it kept this project 100% free – otherwise, I would have had to go out and buy a black mat!
Simple artwork, full of meaning but easy on the pocketbook!
You can download your copy here! I have it available in three different fonts!

I've caught my hubby singing this tune a few times. This will be a good addition to our mostly bare walls. I need to find a frame.
Now I can't get this song out of my head. 😉 Love the font!
I can't get that song out of my head either. lol I was wondering who wrote this song and kept on asking my 15 yr old daughter (who is the expert on this stuff). I kept on thinking it was Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros who does "Home". I learned about that song from a blogger right before it exploded on the radio.
P.S. I love what you've done with your room. 🙂
Thank you so much for this printable! It looks great on my living room gallery wall. Once I *finally* get the living room finished, I'll make sure to link back to you!

PS I believe I spied a USC hat in one of your before shots. We are Gamecock fans too!
Thank you for this!! It is my husband and my (most recent) song, just saw them in concert a few weeks back too! Cannot wait to surprise him with this in our room 🙂
So cute! How do you have it sitting on your dresser?
I love this one! I cant wait to print and frame it.
Thank you so much for these printables, love all the fonts actually. Will have hard time deciding which one to use. We're pretty much old married couple, will be 46 yrs. on Nov. 30th.
Our first date was 10/18/68, we got married on 11/30/68 and hubs left for Viet Nam on 12/26/68, He came back( Thank you so much God), in April 69. He was due to get out in August so could only keep him over there for a TDY stint. He was a helicopter flight engineer with the Jolly Greens who went over to pick up shot down pilots as one of their jobs.
We met at laundra-mat/dry cleaners where I worked close to Davis Monthan Air Force base. We only knew each other for few weeks. He married me with 3 young kids and we had one after he came back. Guess we were meant to be together. Not easy being a military wife, especially now, you deserve a big Bravo as much as he does. Happy life, enjoy rest of summer
